Ken's musical studies started at The Wisconsin Conservatory of Music in jazz trumpet, and The Juilliard School where he studied composition with Vincent Persichetti, and Stanley Wolfe while pursuing a major in music composition. Ken was also a member of the US Air Force as a music arranger. Ken has written countless film scores for "Air Force News" and "Air Force Now". Ken retired from the US Air Force at The US Air Force Academy as Chief Arranger, in 1997. Ken is currently the Director of Music and Entertainment for The Broadmoor Resort in Colorado Springs and has held the position since January 1, 2003.
Ken has performed for many dignitaries and U.S. Presidents. Dr. Henry Kissinger, George Schultz, Colin Powell, Dick Cheney, Gerald R. Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, William Clinton, and George W. Bush.
