Sound Gallery Music

Starting at $300

Choose an existing composition from the Sound Gallery and license it for your project.

The music is already written, recorded, and ready to go.

The $300 license includes:

One composition from the Sound Gallery
One finished project
Non-exclusive use
Worldwide use
Perpetual use for that project
Synchronization of the music with the finished project
Use in film, documentary, video, presentation, website, social media, and other digital distribution of that project
Up to 5 minutes of music within the finished project

The license allows the music to be synchronized with and distributed as part of the licensed project. It does not permit the music to be sold, distributed, or made available as a standalone recording, nor does it transfer ownership or copyright of the composition or recording.

Composer/Writer’s Share of performance royalties is retained by the composer.

Advertising campaigns, broadcast advertising, theatrical releases, exclusive use, standalone music distribution, and larger commercial projects may require additional licensing and will be quoted separately.

Found something that’s almost perfect?

Let’s make it fit.

A Sound Gallery composition can be customized specifically for your project. That might mean changing the length, structure, instrumentation, arrangement, ending, or other musical elements.

You start with something you love.

We make it yours.

The starting price includes the customized music and a standard project license. Final pricing depends on the extent of the customization and the intended use.

The customized music remains the property of the composer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Composer/Writer’s Share of performance royalties is retained by the composer.

Original Music

Starting at $1,500

Need something completely new?

I’ll compose original music specifically for your project, based on your creative direction, story, imagery, and needs.

The starting price applies to a defined, single-project commission. Larger or more complex projects are quoted individually.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, copyright and ownership of the composition and recording remain with the composer.

Composer/Writer’s Share of performance royalties is retained by the composer.

These are starting prices.

Every project is a little different. Final pricing may depend on the scope of the project, intended use, distribution, length, customization, production requirements, deadline, and licensing terms.

For larger, unusual, or specialized projects, I’ll provide a custom quote.

COPYRIGHT & LICENSING

Music created and published by Ken Miller remains the property of the composer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

A license grants the client specific rights to use the music in an agreed-upon project. Licensing does not constitute a transfer of copyright or ownership of the underlying composition or recording.

Composer/Writer’s Share of performance royalties is retained by the composer.

Any rights not specifically granted in the license remain with the composer.
